Strange daytime Siberia sky suddenly darkened like ink

According to Odity Central, photos taken by locals at 8 am on August 9 show that the entire area of ​​Verkhoyansk (Siberia) is covered in dark darkness.

Although there is no official explanation for the morning, which is suddenly darkened, weather experts say this phenomenon may be related to a series of wildfires that are raging in Siberia. 

Forest fires increase the amount of carbon monoxide in the atmosphere, leading to the formation of dense clouds and blocking the Sun's light.

"The clouds cover so much that they cover the Sun. In addition, there are dense clouds of smoke and rain.

The Fobos weather forecast center also recorded very high levels of carbon monoxide in the region, about 7.19mg / m3 compared to the maximum permitted level of 5mg / m3. 

Scientists identified this concentration of carbon monoxide as seemingly enough to cause a total solar eclipse.
